Dr. Ozgen Dogan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University. He is an attending physician at Long Island College Hospital and New York Presbyterian Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology.
He is board certified in nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine.He did his residency training in Boston, completed Critical Care fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer in New York City and total parenteral nutrition training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. His professional time is spent caring for his patients and teaching medical students, residents and cardiology fellows.
In addition he is a clinical researcher who has published more than 40 original articles and abstracts in national and international journals and an Emergency Medicine Handbook; he also frequently lectures in the U.S. and abroad. His clinical skills include performing invasive cardiac procedures, echocardiography and nuclear stress testing to diagnose heart disease as early as possible.
Dr. Dogan believes strongly in life style changes such as exercise, weight control, and nutrition and stress reduction as extremely effective methods to control and prevent heart disease. |
