Dr. Sudarsanam Konka is board certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. He did his medical residency at Long Island College Hospital and his cardiovascular fellowship at Nassau County Medical Center and Long Island College Hospital. He was chief of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Long Island College Hospital and has been an active attending physician there in internal medicine and cardiology since 1976. He is an integral part of the cardiology teaching program at Long Island College Hospital. His clinical skills include invasive and non-invasive cardiology.

Dr. Konka is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. and an Attending Physician at Long IslaKonkand College Hospital, Brooklyn.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Konka is a strong believer in preventive cardiology and for more than a quarter century has been a prominent presence in Brooklyn Heights.
